Remarkably Created Blog Hop - BUNDLE UP

Hello friends,

You are at Stamp with Georgia's blog and this week I am participating in the Remarkably created Bundled blog hop. We are using bundled products to create some fabulous cards from either the Sale-a-bration catalog or the new Occasions catalog - I chose the Hold on to Hope Stampset and bundle.

I love the flowers and I love the look of the heat embossing and this time I did  them in our copper, This bible verse from Isaiah 46:4 speaks to me to my core.  The butterfly was stamped in Sweet Sugarplum and just seems to add just a touch of whimsy.  The Cross was cut out using the framelet multiple times and layering them together to give more of a solid look to it.  I followed that we some Versamark and then heat embossed it with the Copper embossing powder. I love the deminsion it gives the cross.

I hope you enjoy this hope and follow the links below to head on over to the next stop.

Happy Stamping!

GSF: Bloghop 17; SAB and Occasions

Hello Friends,

This blog hop is with my Global Stamping Friends from around the world. Stampin' Up! has just released this years Sale-a-bration and the Occasions catalogs and thankfully, we as demonstrators have the opportunity to get them a little sooner so we can prepare for our upcoming classes with you our customers.

I chose to do two different cards with a couple of the stamp sets using the resist and heat embossing techniques. I hope you enjoy.

This adorable panda is set up to celebrate you! Party Pandas is a sale-a-bration set that you can receive free with a $50 purchase. I love the card base in Tempting Turqouise and just had fun with watercoloring with different complimentary colors.  I really just had fun with it.

Now this card. What can I say it is another resist focusing on the flower from Heartfelt Blooms.  I absolutely adore how the Old Olive blended with the Tempting Turqouise although this was a mix of using water and rubbing alcohol in my aqua painters.  Please remember to always "Celebrate You!"

Thank you so much for stopping by and seeing what I have designed for your viewing pleasure! Now when you click on the Next arrow that will take you to the next stop on this hop!

Happy Stamping!

Happy New Year my friends!

Hello Friends!

I want to apologize for the long pause in my blog posting. Unfortunately, I got pretty sick just before Thanksgiving and I am still trying to bounce back from that.  It will take a bit of time from what I have been told and so as the old song goes it is "One Day at a Time."

I am sharing some of what has been keeping me occupied - right after Thanksgiving as in Saturday - we had 2 of our kids home and so we went to visit "The Real Santa" in Merrifield, VA at the Merrifield Garden Center. I have taken my girls there since my oldest Rebecca was 2 based on the recommendation of my sister and it was a match made for years. We have spent hours waiting for Santa and when I married Chris I was blessed to introduce the tradition to him and Thomas. Thomas is now 19, Sabrina is in her early 20s and Rebecca is in her upper 20's.  Sadly, this was more than likely, the end of this particular tradition for a while for everyone. So even though I was not really feeling great, I had to go and I love this photo.

Next in the schedule of events was Sabrina's birthday and she wanted to go to paint a canvas - we went to the Gainesville Muse Paint bar and took Grandma with and we all had fun and made our masterpieces!

We created some gift tags for the church for the children's Christmas shop so the kids would have some tags for their parent's gifts. Some 200 tags were provided!

I want to share some of the cards that were done over the Christmas holiday thanks to all the help from Chris and Sabrina. I could not have gotten the cards for Church done without their help.  With my wrist with a tear that is taking forever to heal - cutting and using the Big Shot is not easy for me to do.

200ish Cards for New Life Christian Church - Chantilly
I used some new and some old stamp sets. It is a unique blessing to have my cards bless others. Enjoy a quick little video of just a few of the cards I made for our pastors to send out.

I hope you had a wonderful holiday season. I am getting back up and running so you will start to see more cards, tutorials, blog hops and videos coming in the near future.
